Hi I am new!! Cant wait for details of the LBD Hafla... as it is the first Hafla you guys will have done it is bound to be ACE!! There are loads this year and I am planning on going to as many as poss!!
PS: Photos of us at Misterton hafla are really good - wicked night!! and I am sorry I am not smiling more (me in silver at front) - too much concentration and not enough alcohol ... LOL
You ladies from Louth did a great job and we love having you!
Smiling and dancing at the same time can be a bit like patting your head and rubbing your belly at the same time... or so I'm told . Somebody should do a workshop on it!

Hi girls just to say smiling and dancing is so much easier than you may think!! I will cover some useful suggestions and techniques at Banat el Raqs open workshop (Stage Presence) on the 7th April if you're free! Please feel free to join us I'm sure the ladies would be happy to have you. Give them a ring! xx
As that is a Monday I wont be able to go coz I will be working - but if you will be doing that sort of thing again it would be great to know where (preferably a weekend). I think a lot of it is down to confidence of what you are doing and relaxing with it... then again, easier said than done!! LOL
I've seen the BDSuperstars, if it's an option then I'd say they outclass us by just a wee bit... And there's an outside chance of good weather in June too!
The Winter Gardens are a bit of a seaside venue (meal options when we were there two years ago stretched to hamburger and chips and hot dogs) but the show should be outstanding. Thank God they don't allow smoking now, I seem to remember watching through clouds of cigarette smoke.
We booked a self catering flat for the weekend, it was quite good and that could be an economical option for a group of ladies. There's lots of choice on the internet and should be some vacancies as it's not in school holidays.
