Reading through Banat El-Raqs latest fab quarterly, it was lovely to read the translation of Ticky Ticky Boom - a song (by Emad Sayyah) with many LBD fans!  I never did know what the lyrics meant!

Shocked Many of you newer bellyers may not know that the choreography to this music (sung by Emad Sayyah) was written by our neighbouring belly dance teacher and performer, Candi Colgrave Bell.  She has written many choreographies, some recent ones are on her website, and some which some beginners have probably already danced (Di Di Di [the one with the zills!] being one of them).

No hafla is complete without everyone shimmying to Ticky Ticky Boom! Laughing
