Ah WOW!!! I am soooo excited about going now!!! Cant wait!! Fanx 4 ur help too, we should have a look into it. I was going to just call the Tourist Info and get stuff off them to show the girls and then choose?? Going to have to save up big stylee - esp if Souke on - LOL
OMG!!! My review will be full of ...it was ACE ... I fell over.... I will be as good as them one day.... LOL - God knows what I would put??? Are you serious about the review??..... I can send you pics tho coz I always take my camera to those sort of things
Of course I'm serious! Don't worry, this isn't "The Times" and we're a very uncritical readership. As I said, I'd be happy to edit it for you and will give any help I can. You might even find you enjoy it and become a regular contributor! You could always get your friends to work on it with you and cover different workshops or points of view.
Trish and Claire both have fun with theirs and have their own style, I'm even doing one or two myself now (there were a couple I wrote that I decided not to publish) and am enjoying doing it. I'm in the middle of writing one about Connie's henna tattoo that she got at JoY which should be finished later today.
Photos will be good too..... I follow the rule that the more you take the more chance you have of getting a good one. At a hafla I take about 200 - 300 and get between 30 and 80 that are worth looking at and maybe 4 or 5 that are good. I'd take more but I need a better camera with a flash that recycles faster. The only problem is that I end up watching most hafla/shows through the camera viewfinder.
Once in a while I leave the thing at home so I can just watch and enjoy but then I get disappointed ladies asking where my camera is and aren't they going to get their pictures on the website this time.
I will give it a try 4u then - as long as you tinker with it afterwards (Im no journalist)!! LOL I like the idea about us all doing different workshops too. so we can go back to class and know everything !! LOL
I know what you mean about the camera thing too... I am sure mine runs on steam it is that old
